Stephen Polk
Principle

With experience in key areas of filmmaking and the Entertainment Industry, Stephen's expertise is based on 20 years in Film and Television that involves work on over 40 films. He is an accomplished writer, director, actor, producer, executive producer, post production supervisor, and sales agent. Stephen founded Providence Productions to produce quality, entertaining, films while selling to distribution outlets worldwide. In addition to his executive function at Providence, he has distinguished himself as a director and creative producer who contributes to everything from script to casting, packaging to marketing. With offices and partners in Louisiana, the Midwest, NYC and Canada, his network encompasses the best resources and tax incentives in both national and International locations.

After working as an actor and writer on studio projects with many filmmakers including Ridley Scott and Oliver Stone, Polk began getting hired to consult and produce for Equity Investors and Independent filmmakers successfully leading them through the too often costly challenges of development, production and distribution. He has hired, managed, and supervised numerous teams for productions and post including the latest title in production "Atlas Shrugged" ". Executive producing include festival hits turned Theatrical films including the Sundance Film Festival hit, "Cherish" and the 5 time Audience Award winner "Revoloution". Polk has developed, written and co-written, treatments and feature screenplays including the Sundance Screenplay Competition Finalist, "Bearman". Polk has also developed projects with accomplished writers including Academy Award winning writer Derek Washburn, Tony Award winner Arthur Kopit, and Award winner Christopher Crow. He has also secured and managed distribution for films he produces including limited theatrical releases.

While dedicated to new programs for Museums and schools, he has served the missions of charitable organizations including Churches, correctional Institutions, The Boys and Girls Club, Youth at Risk organizations, Kids for a Cause

Polk studied English, History and Theater at Westminster and Kenyon College, acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse, writing at Playwrights Center, and directing at NYU Film School. He also attended the American University in Cairo.

Harmon Kaslow Executive Producer

Harmon Kaslow has been executing finance structures and production legal as the Executive Vice President of A-Mark Entertainment, an entertainment financing company. Mr. Kaslow graduated from the USC Law School and started as an entertainment attorney at the international law firm of Shea & Gould. He has worked for 20 years in the entertainment industry including receiving executive producer credit on 20 motion pictures. At A-Mark, Mr. Kaslow has been responsible for financial risk analysis, investment oversight and reporting, and the company's legal/ business affairs. He has been involved in a number of transactions with Seven Arts Pictures including Asylum and No Good Deed where A-Mark's investment was repaid and American Summer, Autopsy and Nine Miles Down where Seven Arts is collecting from its licensees. Prior to A-Mark, he was the President/COO of Kismet Entertainment Group where he oversaw a number of successful motion pictures including the award winning Dog Soldiers as well as Boo!, Cemetery Gates, and Neo Ned. In the past three years at A-Mark, Mr. Kaslow has overseen the successful structuring of nearly $17M in film project loans. Most recently (May 2009), A-Mark's Next Day Air (budget = $3M) was theatrically released in the USA and earned nearly $10M in gross box office in its first three weeks of release.

Successful production company�s and films have a supervising producer who delivers like Mr. Sugerman. Andrew has produced numerous successful TV and Feature Film projects with production companies like Hyde Park, Miramax, Gemini Films and Motion Picture Corporation of America. He recently produced DEATH SENTENCE with Kevin Bacon and Kelly Pressman, PREMONITION with Sandra Bullock, GRILLED with Ray Romano,, and SHOPGIRL with Steve Martin and Claire Daines, WHOLE TEN YARDS with Bruce Willis. Previously, BOAT TRIP with Cuba Gooding, UNDISPUTED with Wesley Snipes, and PROZAC NATION starring Christina Ricci, Jessica Lange and Anne Heche. Producing credits also include IN GOLD WE TRUST, BASIC TRAINING and the movie of the week WORKING TRASH for Fox starring George Carlin and Ben Stiller. He produced and directed MANDY�S GRANDMOTHER, an Emmy Award winner and Academy Award nominated half hour drama syndicated by Multimedia. He also Line Produced a number of low-budget features that were released on HBO, Cable TV and Home Video including: SPIDERS, THE PROPHET�S GAME, KIMBERLY, THE STERLING CHASE, MERCY STREET, DEADLY RIVALS and MICHAELANGEL to name a few. His most recent feature is BETTY ANN starring two time Academy Award winner Hillary Swank. Andrew is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Directors Guild of America.

Tom Skouras
Distributor

With his wealth of experience and knowledge, Tom Skouras provides Providence with an exhaustive knowledge of the domestic theatrical market and broad knowledge of the international markets. This, combined with an out deal with Anchor Bay - Sony, makes Skouras valuable to maximize revenue for Providence films. Mr. Skouras has over twenty years experience in independent motion picture distribution. From 1983 to 1995 he was founder and president of Skouras Pictures, Inc., an independent film distribution company responsible for releasing over 200 independent films in the United States and international markets. During this period Skouras Pictures garnered many awards and prizes; these include Academy Award nominations, Golden Globe awards, Sundance awards, New York Film Critics awards, Los Angeles Film Critics awards, and numerous mentions on annual top 10 film lists. Among the many films Skouras has released are Joel and Ethan Coen�s first film, Blood Simple, Paul Schrader�s The Comfort of Strangers, and multiple Oscar nominee My Life As A Dog, directed by Lasse Hallstrom. From 1981 to 1983, Mr. Skouras served as the president of Wescom Productions, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chronicle Publishing Company (San Francisco Chronicle). From 1972 to 1994, he served as a member of the Board of Directors of De Anza Land Co., a Skouras family owned chain of drive-in theatres in California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada. From 1985 to 1992, he also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of San Francisco. He is currently a voting member of the Executive Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Mr. Skouras is the third generation of his family to be involved in the motion picture business; at various times members of his family have owned or controlled United Artists Theater Circuit, Fox Westcoast Theaters, and Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation, as well as DP Skouras Films (Europe).
